# Associate AI Engineer (Bangalore)

Xanadu helps mid-market organisations in the Middle East move from AI experiments
to AI that actually runs in production. We’re a Certified Services Partner, Claude
Partner Network, building on Claude for the reasoning, workflow and agent layer,
and a Canva partner for the creative and communications layer.

## 🌱 The role

Straight up: agents are doing more of the junior build work every month, including
here. So this role isn’t about typing code fast. It’s about judgement. You’ll be
the person who checks the work, breaks it on purpose, and makes it reliable enough
to trust with real customers.

You’ll learn faster here than almost anywhere, because every week you’ll see agents
going into production and you’ll be one of the people deciding whether they’re ready.

## 🎯 What you’ll own

 * **Evals.** Write and run the tests that prove an agent does what it should, on
   both sides of the pod: did it find the right information, and did it give the
   right answer.
 * **Red-teaming.** Try to break agents before customers do.
 * **Test data.** Prepare realistic, safe data for building and testing, with the
   pods’ AI Data Engineers.
 * **Docs and runbooks.** Clear enough that someone else can run it at 2am.
 * **The Agent Library.** Keep it tidy, tested and findable.
 * **Small builds.** Ship features under a Senior’s review.
 * **Hypercare.** Help support customers in the weeks after go-live.

## 📏 What good looks like

 * **90 days:** Claude-certified, running eval suites on a live pod.
 * **12 months:** shipping features, and on the track to AI Engineer.

## 🔑 Must-haves

 * 0 to 2 years of experience. Degree, bootcamp or self-taught, all fine, as long
   as you can show us what you’ve built.
 * A project that calls an LLM API, on GitHub or somewhere we can see it.
 * Python basics and git.
 * Meticulous. You notice when something’s slightly off, and it bugs you.
 * Clear written English, and hungry to learn.

## 🌟 Nice-to-haves

 * An internship in software or QA.
 * Hackathons or open-source contributions.
 * Already Claude-certified.

## 🚫 What this isn’t

 * Not a support desk. You’re part of the build team from day one.

## 🧪 How we hire

 1. **Intro call** (30 min).
 2. **Values and behaviours** (45 min).
 3. **Break-it session** (60 min): we give you a small agent. Break it, tell us how,
    and suggest a fix.
 4. **Decision:** within 48 hours of every stage.
